France

What To Expect

When most people think of France, they think of Paris. The city of Paris boasts the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and Notre Dame, but don’t forget to adventure beyond Paris’ city limits for the true French experience.

Get lost in Monet’s water lily garden in Giverney and step back in time to WWI on Normandy beach. Lounge near the crystal blue waters of the French Rivera and take a winery tour through the vineyards of Bordeaux.

Language: The official language in France is French. While a handful of French understand (and sometimes speak English, learn a few French phrases to avoid being that American tourist.

Currency: The Euro is used as currency (€). Most bars and restaurants will accept major credit/debit cards (except for American Express). If shopping at a market or needing to take public transportation , bring plenty of cash to not get caught in a pinch!

Best Time to Visit : Spring to early summer (May-early June) and late summer to early fall (late August-October) are the best times to visit Greece. The climate is still warm and breezy with less tourists and cheaper flights.
